Founder & CEO, Chair of the Board of Directors, Social Business Earth. Samantha Caccamo holds a BA in Journalism with a Minor in Asian Studies from Pepperdine University, Los Angeles. She became interested in Grameen’s Microcredit and Social Business after reading Professor Muhammad Yunus’ books and attending some of his lectures in Europe. Samantha Caccamo is now specialized in Social Business: social problem identification & research, solution and implementation. She has over ten years experience working for NGOs and private companies.
Giovanni was Managing Director at Credit Suisse working in the Private Banking division for over 18 years. Giovanni acquired a deep business experience and knowledge related to Latin American and western European markets where he held managerial positions within the front organization serving UHNWI and HNWI. Giovanni was often a pioneer in developing solutions aiming at preserving and enhancing the competitiveness of the Swiss Private Banking model. Giovanni holds a PhD from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich.
Professor Gianluca Colombo
Professor Gianluca Colombo is a professor of Economics in the University of Lugano. He is also a professor and the director of the Institute of Management. He is the director of Centre for Entrepreneurship and Family Firm research as well as for the Laboratory for System Modeling.
Silvana Salvatore has been working for Safin Revisioni and Fiduciaria for more than 20 years where she is currently working as senior assistant manager. Safin – Audit and Fiduciary is located in Lugano, Switzerland.
Professor Ashir Ahmed
Professor at the Department of Advanced Information Technology in Kyushu University, Japan. Ph.D. in Information Sciences. Director of GCC Grameen Communications project in Bangladesh, that produces and promotes ICT based social services for the unreached community. Ashir Ahmed is the core contributor to establishing the social business JV Grameen- Yukiguni Maitake Ltd.
